Terms & Conditions

  1. ARRIVAL:Your car will arrive 20 minutes prior to the departure time unless we are unable to do so due to circumstances beyond our control. In any case the company shall notify the booker as soon as possible.
  2. AUTHORITY: The driver is authorised by us to stop the car and ask any passengers to leave the vehicle if, in his opinion, they are acting contrary to our conditions of service in any way.
  3. DAMAGE: Any malicious damage or deliberate breakages or carelessness resulting in damage to the vehicle will be charged directly to the person who placed the booking.
  4. LICENSING/INSURANCE: We will not carry more passengers than our insurance allows.
  5. SMOKING: We have a NON-smoking policy for all our cars in line with health and safety legislation. Smoking in the cars is not permitted.
  6. SUBSTITUTION: We reserve the right to substitute any car in the event of a breakdown or vehicle dame prior to any journey. In such an event we will endeavour to supply a vehicle of equal quality, if this is not possible we will make an adjustment to the price accordingly. If the car should breakdown during your journey the driver will contact us to arrange alternative transport to get you to your destination as soon as practical.
  7. BOOKING CONFIRMATION: Your booking is not secured until a deposit is received by Impressions. Confirmation of any payment will be sent to you in writing. Please check the booking confirmation carefully and inform us of any errors. We will endeavour to check all details, including pick-up, drop-off and journey times etc. given to us.
  8. DEPARTURE TIMES: Based on distances, the number of journeys and traffic conditions we will recommend departure and journey times for the day of travel. Impressions cannot be responsible for clients insistence for any variation to the recommended times.
  9. QUOTES: All quotes will be provided in writing based on information supplied by our customer. The quote will be considered as binding by Impressions subject to these terms and will be valid for one calendar month. Any changes in requirements could render the quote invalid and in such circumstances Impressions will re-quote based on the changed itinerary.
  10. LIABILITY: Every effort will be made to get you to your destination on time, but we are not liable for any loss due to delays caused by events out of our control including but not limited to traffic jams, road works, road closures, diversions, extreme weather conditions, collisions with other parties or mechanical breakdown. In the unfortunate event of mechanical breakdown, taxi fares will be fully reimbursed and the cost of hire for the vehicle either fully or partly refunded, depending on circumstances.
  11. TERMINATION: Celebrations reserves the right to refuse or terminate any booking if it is felt to be not genuine or places any driver or vehicle at risk of damage or abuse by the client or by persons (connected or not connected with the client) in the vicinity of any location during the hire. The vehicle will leave the vicinity of any disturbance and only return when safe to do so. Impressions reserve the right to terminate the arrangement at any time in the journey should the client commit any act which threatens the safety of the vehicle or any of its occupants. In this instance there will be no refund for the remaining unused journey.
  12. PAYMENT: Where a standard booking deposit of £75 per car is agreed, the balance owing should be paid no later than one calendar month prior to traveling. For bookings made less than 3 months prior to traveling the full payment will be required at the time of booking. Booking confirmation will be sent once part or full payment has been received. Outstanding balances that remain inside of one calendar month prior to traveling could result in the cancellation of the booking by Impressions.
  13. CANCELLATION: If you decide not to proceed with your booking, you will need to notify us in writing (e-mail or letter) prior to the date of travel. A booking will be deemed to be cancelled once written confirmation has been received by Impressions. Any refund due to the client will be subject to the cancellation charges set out below. Booking deposits are excluded and are non refundable. We understand that sometimes the cancellation is not by choice and recommend that you take out Insurance to cover you for any such charges.

    CANCELATION CHARGES:

    • Written cancellation received one calendar month or more prior to the wedding - The deposit will be retained.
    • Written cancellation received between 14 days and one calendar month prior to the wedding - 50% of the total hire charge for all vehicles booked will be retained.
    • Written cancellation received less than 14 days prior to the wedding - 100% of the total hire charge for all vehicles booked will be retained.
  14. PERSONAL POSSESIONS: Although vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third party claims under British Law, Customer's properties are carried entirely at their own risk and the Company shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage to such property.
  15. JURISTICTION: The conditions set out above and all other expressed Terms of Contract, shall be governed & are construed in accordance with the laws of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
